The Level 1a training offers basic training in the SA Application process, documentation, caseload management and monthly reporting.  A request for registration fax will be sent province wide one month prior to the training to advise field staff of its availability.

This training is a follow-up training to the Level 1. Level 2 provides knowledge, skills and information on how to effectively support employable clients to seek independence from Social Assistance and the tools, knowledge and practices for working more effectively with Aboriginal clientele. Included are training session with Guiding Circles and Douglas College. Service providers associated with Social Development such as the Ministry of Education and Income Assistance, Service Canada and the Indian and Northern Affairs Canada provide information and an interactive opportunity to answer BSDW questions pertinent to their Social Development responsibilities.
